Juan Soler and host Paulina Mercado, who after having long marriages and raising children with their partners, decided to give relationships another chance after separating.

In 2018, soap opera actor Juan Soler confirmed in a statement his separation from model Maki Moguilevsky, after 15 years of relationship and having had two daughters, Mía and Azul. The couple was for a long time one of the most beloved on the show, so the news came as a bomb to their fans.
However, the separation occurred on good terms and they remained friends.
Paulina, on the other hand, has been very discreet regarding her romantic partners. What is known is that she was a very young mother, and now, at 50 years old, her sons, Emiliano and Pedro, are already 24 and 23 years old respectively.
Paulina divorced in 2010, and since then she has not known any new formal partner. In the program she hosts, she always accepted being a modern, single mother.
At the end of 2021, Juan Soler, 57, joined the morning magazine program Sale el Sol, in which Paulina has been the base host for several years now.
The news surprised the public since Juan is an accomplished actor with more than 25 years of career in soap operas, and this was the first time he ventured into hosting.
After a year of sharing the spotlight on the morning show, Juan and Paulina, 50, became good friends. They even became confidants, and even gave each other advice on how to better deal with their romantic relationships. Juan, at that time, was encouraged to ask Paulina to take their friendship further, since they were good friends and had a lot of chemistry together.
However, Paulina said no because she did not want to jeopardize her friendship.
Soler did not take his finger off the line and confessed: “I continued doing my little fight.” The outings they had were always in groups, but one day, the driver accepted Juan's invitation to eat alone.

The 2 children of each of them were the first to find out about the love that had arisen between the couple. “The four children,” as they call them, accepted the relationship with pleasure.
“I told my daughters about Paulina and they thought it was incredible,” the actor revealed. For her part, Juan met her children at a meal to which he brought meat injected with truffle, with which he won over her boys.

For her part, Juan commented that he gets along very well with the mother of her daughters and that he had expressed that he respects her private life, just as they do with hers after more than 4 years of separation.
Regarding a new marriage, Juan confessed that “there are no plans” with Paulina, and that they hope to continue getting to know each other, grow, live, and travel as much as possible.
