Britney Spears' involvement with her dancer Wade Robson went beyond a single kiss, according to her former songwriter.
In her revealing new memoir, 'The Woman in Me,' the pop star disclosed a surprising revelation that she had cheated on her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake with her former dancer, Wade.
While the book acknowledged a kiss between Britney and Wade during a night out when they both discovered Justin had cheated on her, the songwriter, Annet Artani, who co-wrote Britney's chart-topping hit 'Everytime,' suggested their affair was more substantial.
The songwriter recounted that Britney shared details of their relationship, saying, "We were out one night and went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night."
Artani claimed that Britney had penned a lengthy, 14-page breakup letter to Wade, which she concealed in her makeup bag. She questioned the idea that someone would write such an extensive letter for a mere one-time kiss, implying that there might be more to the story than Britney had disclosed.
The songwriter further explained that Justin stumbled upon the breakup letter himself before Britney could present it to Wade. After discovering the affair, the former NSYNC singer ended his relationship with Britney shortly thereafter.
In the aftermath of their painful breakup, Justin released his hit song 'Cry Me a River,' a track about catching an ex cheating and refusing to reconcile. The song's music video upset Britney as it portrayed her negatively and featured a clear lookalike.
