Back to the future is celebrating its anniversary. Along with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, the actress is part of one of the most beloved casts in Hollywood.
Taking advantage of the fact that the story directed by Robert Zemeckis is celebrating its 36th anniversary of release in 2021, let's remember Lea Thompson, actress who gave life to Lorraine Baines, mother of Marty Mcfly.
Lea was chosen to be Lorraine after her participation in the 1984 film The Wild Life, a plot that catapulted her as a top performer.
After being directed by Robert Zemeckis and sharing a cast with Fox and Lloyd, she continued in film, but also on television. She had prominent roles in Daniel, el travieso and in the sitcom Caroline in the city, between 1995 and 1999. She was also part of an episode in the popular Friends in 1995 and appeared in Law and Order.
With several small roles on TV, her career took another direction in 2011 when she returned to the lead role with Cambiadas al Nacer. Since then, after the end of the series in 2017, Lea Thompson has not returned to the screen, but she has remained active in work as a TV producer and director.
