Ben Affleck, the husband of Jennifer Lopez, caused a wave of memes after being captured on camera looking grim at the Grammys. What a face he had for us! So much so that the images of him became viral from one moment to the next, but now he has something very curious to say about why he had that face.
He appeared looking very sad at the Grammys in February 2023 and it was something that worried the couple's followers a lot, as all the crisis alarms went off between them, but... No! Turns out it's just his face. Ben Affleck assures that he is not a grump, that it is just the way he sees himself.
During an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Ben Affleck explained in his defense and a little indignant: "I have a very unhappy resting face. That's how God made me. They don't have to punish me for it." In fact, he did a quiz with the host and showed his 'happy' face... And yet, he still looked like he was sad! His face is hopeless.
Jimmy told him, "It seemed like you weren't as excited about the party as everyone else," and Ben replied, "That's the wrong idea about me." It seems that he was having fun, although his face showed the opposite... How strong!
During the interview, Ben was talking about his new movie 'Air' about Michael Jordan's iconic collaboration with Nike and brought up Jimmy's show joke about not letting Matt Damon in for an interview. The truth is that Jimmy has been involved in the joke with Matt since 2006, when he joked that he had removed the actor from an episode of his show and now ends each episode by apologizing for not having time to interview him.
Jimmy then allowed Ben to call Matt and bring him onto the show via video chat, saying, "This will be your wedding present," before telling Matt that he's "not actually on the show." The host asked Ben about his role on 'Air' and the screen continued to freeze before Jimmy added some silly filters to Matt's photo.
To which he replied: "I knew you were going to do something stupid, you're a kid," which led Jimmy to reply: "I'm so sorry we lost the connection, but, well, you know what, we're not going to try to get it back."
