Following the singer's love history, the apprehension of those close to her is not surprising.
In December of last year, Ariana Grande announced to the world with some tender photos of her her engagement to her boyfriend, real estate agent Dalton Gomez. On the networks, many of her fans supported her decision and sent long messages of joy for the singer, but there was also a group that showed “disagreement” due to what they considered a hasty decision.
This last group is joined by several of the singer's closest friends, who fear that her infatuation is winning over Ariana again. Let's remember that after a year and a half of relationship with Mac Miller, the singer quickly got married to comedian Pete Davidson and in less than a year they got engaged and ended their relationship... just 4 months later. She even dedicated a song to him from what was then her latest album, Sweetener.
A source from her inner circle confessed to Entertainment Tonight that although happiness invades the future spouses, many fear that the engagement will end with a quick breakup.
“They are very much in love right now, but friends think the engagement was a bit rushed. Although they are skeptical that the relationship will not last. They've spent a lot of time together since they decided to take the plunge and have kept things very private. They keep it to themselves and enjoy their time together,” is the statement given to the media.
The same source also stated that regardless of the networks and portals, the couple has become closer since the engagement. Shortly after the relationship began, Ariana visited Los Angeles and ended up deciding to move to the city where her boyfriend worked. When the time came, she even bought a house so as not to be separated from him, so they spent much of her quarantine together.
