As Emma Watson graced the promotional tour for the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, she captivated audiences not just with her acting prowess but also with her radiant appearance.
The British actress, renowned for her role as Disney princess Belle, recently shared some intriguing insights into her beauty routine during an interview with Into the Gloss.
Despite the often-guarded nature of celebrities' beauty regimens, Watson opened up about her unique practices. Embracing a natural look, she broke the stigma surrounding prepping rituals, stating, "There is still so much shame around the things you do to get ready while you have a towel wrapped around your head. It is important that you do not correct it."
Watson confessed to a peculiar yet effective habit she has maintained since childhood: "I have been whitening my upper lip (mouth) since I was nine years old. I don't do it very often, but I do it!" To achieve her luminous appearance, she relies on Fur Oil, an all-purpose product primarily designed for pubic hair but utilized by Watson from the tips of her hair to her eyebrows, ensuring a consistently impeccable look.
While Fur Oil may be unconventional for some, Watson's commitment to nighttime skincare routines is more universally acknowledged. She emphasized her dedication, sharing, "I could come back from a shoot at 4 AM and cleanse, tone, and hydrate my skin before going to bed. People are surprised by this, but it’s just one of those self-care practices that I really enjoy."
Proudly embracing her freckles, Watson emphasized her preference for a natural appearance, stating, "The goal for me when applying makeup is that you should be able to see your skin as much as possible.
As I've gotten older, I've accepted my freckles a lot more and want to be able to see them." During the filming of Beauty and the Beast, she insisted on keeping her freckles as an integral part of her character, reflecting her commitment to authenticity in the world of glamour.
