Jennifer Aniston's theory about her love failures

While Jennifer Aniston is “really good at all her other jobs,” The Morning Show star revealed in an interview with WSJ Magazine that her love life is kind of an area that needs some polishing.

Aniston attributed this theory to her parents' dynamics. "Seeing my family's relationship didn't make me say, 'Oh, I can't wait to do that,'" the Friends star, 54, said of the relationship between her mom Nancy Dow and dad John Aniston, who are dating. They divorced when she was a child.

For Jennifer Aniston, it was always difficult to believe in relationships, because she grew up alone due to her parents' divorce.

“I think it was always a little difficult for me in relationships, because I was really a little lonely,” she recalled. “I didn't like the idea of sacrificing who she was or what she needed, so I didn't really know how to do it.”

Jennifer continued: “It was almost easier to be alone. So I didn't have any real training in that give and take.”

The actress, who is working on “not being afraid to say what you need and what you want,” added: “It's still a challenge for me in a relationship.” The Golden Globe winner also joked that she's just "sleeping with" her dog these days.

How many times has Jennifer Aniston been married?

Jennifer has been married twice, first to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, she married Justin Theroux, and the former couple has remained close since their 2018 split.

While the former couple no longer "talks every day," the Leftovers actor told Esquire in April 2021 that they "call each other" on FaceTime and text each other.

Jennifer Aniston clarified in a December 2018 interview with Elle magazine that she personally views her marriages to Brad Pitt, 59, and Justin Theroux, 52, as "very successful."

“When they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy and sometimes happiness no longer exists within that arrangement,” the Emmy-winning actress explained. Ella Jennifer added that she “wouldn't stay in a situation out of fear,” as that would lead to a “life of harm.”
