In a behind-the-scenes glimpse provided by the report, it was revealed that many stuntmen, some exceeding 20 deaths on screen, played pivotal roles in creating intense action sequences.
Notably, the iconic stair fight scene involved up to 35 stuntmen, with each facing on-screen death multiple times during the filming of the same sequence.
Jeremy Marinas, the fight sequence coordinator, acknowledged the challenges and shared insights into the process. He expressed, "It was like we were going to work just another day," emphasizing the dedication of the stunt team.
The report highlighted the difficulties involved in capturing the stair fight scene, requiring seven takes filmed at night. Keanu Reeves took on all of John Wick's stunts in that particular sequence, while the fall down the stairs involved stunt double Vincent Bouillon.
