Since she became part of the British royal family, the Duchess of Sussex has received strong criticism for her "Hollywood diva" attitude.
The public image of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is going through the worst moment. Her trips on expensive private planes, a luxury baby shower in New York or a multimillion-dollar renovation of her new residence have left Meghan Markle as a complicated, wasteful and overly jealous woman with her privacy. Her husband, Prince Harry, also does not receive good comments.
For this reason, Prince Harry and his wife have decided to hire the important public relations company and crisis management expert called Sunshine Sachs.
According to the British tabloid Daily Mail, she is one of the most prominent when it comes to cleaning up the image of people who have come out badly.
In 2015 they dealt with producer Harvey Weinstein after the rape allegation of Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez. One of the many lawsuits against the powerful American for harassment and abuse.
In addition to Weinstein, the New York-based company had among its most famous clients Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake (who hired its services after the sc--dal surrounding his performance with Janet Jackson at the 2004 Superbowl) and the model Naomi Campbell.
Buckingham Palace does not welcome the arrival of an external consultancy - and one with a not entirely clean reputation - for such a delicate issue. In addition, the Windsors already have Sara Latham, who has helped, among others, the Clintons when the Monica Lewinsky case came to light.
"Hiring a Hollywood company to represent you on a public relations issue when you are a member of the royal family is unorthodox, to put it mildly," palace sources told the aforementioned publication.
Meanwhile, the former actress will leave her maternity leave behind next week to present one of her most ambitious projects: a capsule collection of work clothes for charity. The initiative is part of Smart Works, an organization that helps unemployed women and of which Markle has been the patron for months.
The presentation will take place next Thursday, September 12, and will be the Duchess of Sussex's first official act since she had Archie, her first child with Harry.
