Rachel McAdams has given an extensive interview to 'Bustle' magazine where she, proud of her real body and with the aim of claiming her importance, has revealed her armpit hair.
Furthermore, the protagonist of 'Noa's Diary' has opened up about the two years she took off from the world of acting.
Rachel McAdams has become the star of the April issue of the women's magazine 'Bustle'. A sincere interview where the 'The Notebook' actress posed proud of herself and where she wanted to emphasize the importance of real bodies.
"With this shoot, I'm wearing latex underwear. But I've had two children. This is my body, and I think it's very important to reflect it to the world," explains the 44-year-old performer. A photo session where, in order to show herself as she is, we see the protagonist of 'Mean Girls' show off her armpit hair, as you can see by sliding on the publication.
"It's okay to look your best, work hard and be healthy, but that's different for everyone," said McAdams, who asked that minimal editing be made to the photo shoot.
In addition, she took the opportunity to offer advice to all those people who have the idea of starting to shave: "This is the advice my mother gave me: 'Once you start, you can never stop,'" the actress stated and added: "It's so true, life is long and shaving is intense."
Beyond championing natural beauty, Rachel also opened up about the two-year break she took from the film industry: "But I also knew that I wasn't very good with my personality and what I needed to stay sane," he commented to the aforementioned media.

"There were definitely some anxious moments where I wondered if I was throwing everything away, and why was I doing that?" Rachel revealed, confessing that "it's taken me years to understand what I was doing intuitively."
