The trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, which has occupied much of the media attention, finally ended with a sentence in which Amber Heard is guilty of defamation on all the charges she faced.

As a consequence, she must pay 10 million dollars to her ex-partner in compensatory damages, of the initial 15 that the law prevents from exceeding, plus 35,000 for punitive damages.

After that jury decision, Johnny Depp has been publicly euphoric, participating in concerts with his friend Jeff Beck. Amber, for her part, gave an extensive first interview after the trial, in which she surprised with some of her statements about Depp.

"I love him. I have loved him with all my heart," Heard said. She has already confessed to being "terrified" that Depp will sue her for defamation again, if she continues talking about the trial.

Now that she must face compensation, the actress is considering other options beyond her professional career. According to a source close to her consulted by The Mirror, she believes that her career "is over."

One of them could be a book explaining everything about her experience in the trial with her ex-partner. According to this source, this option is gaining weight: "She has already started conversations to publish her book, and she is excited about it. At this point, Amber has nothing to lose and she wants to tell everything."

The British newspaper has spoken with a lawyer, who says that these statements about the trial could lead to the new defamation case that Amber fears.

Regarding the economic factor, her lawyer Elaine Bredehoft assured at the end of the trial that Heard cannot afford to pay the compensation, and announced that they are going to appeal the verdict, which she believes was influenced by media and social pressure the judges.
