Heard's Sister Testifies, Johnny Depp Accused of Repeatedly Punching Amber During Heated Argument

Amber Heard's sister, Whitney Henriquez, has come forward with a testimony claiming that she witnessed Johnny Depp repeatedly punching Heard in the face during a heated argument in March 2015.

Heard's Sister Testifies, Johnny Depp Accused of Repeatedly Punching Amber During Heated Argument

Henriquez corroborated her sister's account before the Fairfax court in Virginia, where the defamation lawsuit filed by Depp against Heard is currently being adjudicated.

According to Henriquez's narrative, the altercation escalated into a physical confrontation between Depp and Heard, with both parties engaged in shouting. In addition to striking her sister, Depp allegedly attacked Henriquez. The witness recalled Heard's defense, stating, "Don't hit my sister." Security had to intervene, separating them while Depp reportedly directed derogatory language at them.

Depp had previously addressed the "staircase incident" in the ongoing litigation, refraining from acknowledging whether he had hit the sisters. Instead, he asserted that he was the "real victim" of an assault that left him with facial injuries. The security guard, Travis McGivern, later provided testimony supporting Depp's version of events.

During her testimony, Heard stated that she had struck Depp on that day to protect her sister. She claimed that Depp had grabbed her by the back of the head and repeatedly punched her face. This incident had been previously scrutinized in a defamation lawsuit between the former couple in the United Kingdom in 2020. Henriquez's testimony during that trial supported Heard's account, leading the judge to rule that Depp had, on numerous occasions, attacked Heard.

The current legal battle between Depp and Heard commenced on April 11, with the actor accusing her of defamation and seeking $50 million in damages. The defamation claim is linked to an article published by Heard in The Washington Post in 2018, post-divorce, where she asserted that she had experienced "domestic abuse." The court proceedings continue to unfold, shedding light on the intricate details of this highly publicized dispute.
