Jennifer Aniston, an American actress and close friend of Matthew Perry, paid a touching tribute to her co-star from the iconic 1990s series Friends, who passed away suddenly on October 28.

Aniston expressed her emotions in an Instagram post, sharing several pictures of her and Perry on the Friends set.

"He loved making people laugh. His life literally depended on it," Aniston wrote emotionally in her tribute. Perry, known for portraying Chandler Bing, passed away at the age of 54. Aniston's post conveyed a mix of emotions as she bid farewell to her friend. 

"Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an overwhelming wave of emotions," she expressed. "I love you, and I know that now you are completely at peace and without any type of pain, Rest in peace, little brother," concluded Aniston, accompanied by a heart and a white dove emoticon.

Perry was discovered deceased in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles home, with the cause of death still unknown. Friends co-stars have been sharing their heartfelt goodbye messages on social media and in public statements.

Courteney Cox used her social media platform to honor Matthew Perry: "I am very grateful for the moments I had with you Matty, and I miss you every day," she shared on Instagram, along with a video featuring the characters Monica Geller and Chandler Bing, played by Cox and Perry.

David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow also joined the tribute on social media, offering emotional posts praising Perry's humor and expressing gratitude for the shared time. The wave of farewells and tributes from the Friends cast began earlier, with Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and Matt LeBlanc sharing their love and affection for their departed friend.

"Thank you for the best 10 years a person can have," wrote Kudrow on Instagram, who portrayed the whimsical Phoebe Buffay. "Thank you for making me laugh so much with what you said until my muscles hurt and tears came to my eyes. Every day! Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required commitment and a lot of 'talking'," Kudrow expressed.

Schwimmer, who played Ross, shared a photo of young Chandler and Ross, praising Perry's comedic talent on and off the Friends set. "You had a heart. One that you were generous with and that you shared with us, so that we could create a family out of six strangers," said Schwimmer, reflecting on Perry's generous spirit.
