Meghan Markle copies Princess Diana not only the style, but also a famous kiss

Meghan Markle, often drawing parallels with Princess Diana, recently paid homage to the late Lady Di by recreating a memorable moment from 35 years ago.

Meghan Markle copies Princess Diana not only the style, but also a famous kiss

At a polo game in Montecito, California, Prince Harry, Diana's youngest son, celebrated his victory with a kiss from Meghan, evoking a striking resemblance to a similar scene involving Diana and Prince Charles in 1987.

Meghan, aged 40, sported a long-sleeved black blouse adorned with white polka dots, reminiscent of Diana's ensemble from the 1987 polo game in the United Kingdom.

Completing her spring look, Meghan paired the blouse with loose, high-waisted shorts cinched by a black belt, black sneakers, and a wide-brimmed hat in the same tone.

The media inevitably drew comparisons between Meghan's attire and the white polka dot dress worn by Princess Diana over three decades ago at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor.

Beyond the visual parallels in their styles, what captivated attention was the affectionate kiss shared by both Meghan and Diana with their respective partners to celebrate victorious moments. Paparazzi captured a heartwarming gesture as Meghan presented the trophy to Prince Harry's winning team, The Padres, at the Lisle Nixon Memorial tournament.

Meghan kissed each team member on the cheek, and when it came to Harry, she planted a sweet kiss on his lips, leaving a trace of red lipstick. In a lighthearted moment, Meghan quickly wiped off the lipstick mark, eliciting laughter from both.

The tournament, hosted by Prince Harry's Polo Club and organized by polo player and close friend Nacho Figueras, marked a special occasion for Meghan and Harry. Figueras expressed his excitement about playing alongside Prince Harry and emphasized the significance of their shared experiences as parents.

The team's name, "Los Padres," reflects the proximity of the polo club to the Los Padres National Forest and symbolizes the bond they share as parents. The nostalgic echoes of Diana's style and gestures continue to weave into the public narrative surrounding Meghan Markle, adding a touch of timeless elegance and sentimentality to her evolving royal journey.
