The actress revisited the premiere of Much Ado About Nothing in 1993, where she, Reeves, and Robert Sean Leonard starred in the Shakespeare adaptation directed by Kenneth Branagh.

After attending this year's Cannes Film Festival, Beckinsale took to social media to reminisce about a wardrobe mishap at the 1993 event.

She posted a photo from the red carpet and revealed how Reeves and Leonard came to her rescue when the buttons on her bodysuit unexpectedly popped, causing a potential wardrobe malfunction.

The actress recounted that just as they were about to exit the car, the bodysuit's buttons gave way, prompting her garment to "rise up like a roller blind."

In her Instagram post, Beckinsale shared her appreciation for Reeves and Leonard, praising them as "absolute legends" who acted swiftly without asking questions. She described the moment when she discreetly informed the two actors about the situation, and they graciously assisted by holding her dress in place while posing for photos.

The actress acknowledged their willingness to intervene in such situations, emphasizing their support and quick thinking.

Additionally, Beckinsale made headlines last week at the premiere of The Pot-au-Feu, where she wore a stunning green jumpsuit with transparencies and glitter by Zuhair Murad, paired with a matching skirt.

Addressing comments about her appearance, she responded to queries about cosmetic procedures, stating that she has not had a facelift, Botox, laser treatments, nose surgery, or fillers. The actress shared that she maintains her skin through facial treatments with plasma to boost collagen and microcurrents for skin tightening and oxygenation.

While expressing an interest in laser treatments, she admitted hesitancy due to fear, playfully mentioning that things might start "falling off" around her 50th birthday in July.
