The artist, famous for her roles in blockbuster films like 'Moulin Rouge,' 'The Others,' 'Identity Erased,' 'The Upside,' and 'Cold Mountain,' as well as acclaimed series such as 'The Undoing' and 'Big Little Lies,' opened up about her journey before achieving international fame.

During a promotional interview for her latest film 'Being the Ricardos,' where she stars alongside Javier Bardem, Kidman sat down with Kyle Sandilands on 'KIIS FM' to discuss aspects of her past that were previously unknown to many.

Sandilands, expressing admiration for Kidman's stature as an actor, commented, "I don't have what it takes to be an actor. I don't have the brain, I didn't even finish year ten - the fourth year of ESO." Kidman promptly responded, "I didn't finish year 11 - High School - and somehow I got there. Are we allowed to say that?" She further amused listeners by sharing that even her husband, Keith Urban, didn't complete schooling beyond the age of ten, adding a touch of humor to the conversation.

Kidman then delved into her early work experiences, revealing that her initial job was as an usher at the renowned Capitol Theater in Sydney. This first foray into the professional world allowed her to earn "a little money," but more importantly, it provided her with an "exciting" opportunity to immerse herself in the vibrant atmosphere of theaters.

Kidman fondly reminisced about the daily life of performers, the energy of the audience, the play of lights, and the behind-the-scenes dynamics, painting a vivid picture of the theatrical world that captivated her early on.
