"I was wondering if I would ever get up the courage to tell her," the son of Diana of Wales admits having been interested in the actress who plays Monica Geller in 'Friends' through the pages of her book 'In the Shadow'.
It was evident that 'In the Shadow', Prince Harry's new book, was going to tell us thousands of anecdotes and stories from his life that we did not know. It was obvious that he would talk about topics such as the death of his mother, his relationship with the royal family or even the controversy that arose from his engagement to Meghan Markle.
However, beyond all that, the son of Diana of Wales wanted to open up and did not hesitate to tell some highly criticized stages of his life, such as the one in which he was considered 'the party prince'. A time that has given us a lot to talk about, but about which we did not know some of the most interesting data. For example, his crush on Courteney Cox.
As Harry confesses in the pages of his memoirs and we have been able to find out thanks to US Weekly, like thousands and thousands of people, he was a fan of 'Friends' and, especially, of the one played by Monica Geller in the audiovisual. Therefore, when a friend of his decided to stay at the actress's house while she was traveling for work, it seemed like an "attractive and fun" idea, or at least until the moment she appeared through the door.
A moment that left the Duke of Sussex confused but in which Cox insisted that they stay. "She was Monica. And I was like Chandler. I wondered if she would ever have the courage to tell him," Harry explained.
Harry was in love with the actress since he saw the series for the first time and that made her shyness grow. The solution? As Meghan Markle's now husband confirms, he hid it with tequila and mushrooms. "My partner and I took several, swallowed them and washed them down with tequila," he confessed.
In his youth Harry was surrounded by numerous sc--dals. They were a few years that gave a lot of talk about his behavior and, therefore, it is not surprising that he coincided at a party of this caliber with all kinds of celebrities and in those circumstances.
