Following her split from Glee actor Chord Overstreet in late May, Emma Watson has seemingly found new romance.
The 28-year-old British actress jetted off to Mexico for a relaxing vacation, and she wasn't alone. Emma was accompanied by businessman Brendan Wallace, and the pair was recently spotted sharing a romantic kiss while enjoying a quiet lunch at a local restaurant, managing to go unnoticed by fellow diners.
In the snapshots, taken during their getaway, Emma, dressed in a striped blouse, denim shorts, black sneakers, and a white cap, appeared completely enamored with Brendan. The technology CEO, in turn, lavished her with affectionate gestures. This escape served as a perfect retreat for Watson, providing a break from her filming commitments for the upcoming movie "Little Women." The film, directed by Greta Gerwig (known for "Lady Bird"), is an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel and features a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, and Timothée Chalamet.
Emma's involvement in "Little Women" garnered attention as she stepped in as a replacement for Emma Stone. Stone, the Oscar-winning actress for "La La Land," had to withdraw from the project for unspecified reasons. The novel, originally published in 1868, has seen various film adaptations, with the 1994 version starring Winona Ryder being the most renowned.
Brendan Wallace, Emma's newfound companion, is a highly successful businessman with an impressive track record. Holding a degree in political science and economics from Princeton University, he began his career at Goldman Sachs, one of the world's largest investment banks. Later, he transitioned to the private sector, making a significant impact at The Blackstone Group, particularly in the multimillion-dollar acquisition of Hilton hotels.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Brendan co-founded and is the managing partner of Fifth Wall. He played key roles in the founding of Cabify and Identified, a data analytics company. Further adding to his accomplishments, he established Otter Rock Capital in 2014, an investment firm focusing on early-stage, rapidly growing companies.
