During the video, Taylor travels through different cities (Miami and Tokyo) but her final destination is London. Joe Alwyn is British and rumors suggest that they met in the British capital. In the lyrics Taylor sings that she "doesn't want to be another ex."
Other details of the video that have not gone unnoticed by fans are "messages" related to Taylor's personal life.
