After a long time out of the spotlight, James Haven has given an interview in which he has spoken openly about his role in the complicated situation of her sister Angelina Jolie and her nephews after separating from Brad Pitt.

"I prepared my life to be able to be present in any situation. I want to be there for them, whatever they're going through," Haven said.
"They are becoming young adults in their twenties. I think it's very natural and I want to be there at any time," said Angelina Jolie's brother.
During the interview, James Haven assumes that his role in this situation came down to changing everything to be with them. When her sister started with this problem James says that "that's where it all started, it started with protecting her and her children, my nieces and nephews."
