According to West, their friendship deteriorated after he made indiscreet remarks during a press conference, leading to a subsequent breakdown in communication. During an appearance on Sunday Morning on Times Radio, the actor admitted to losing touch with Prince Harry due to his own outspokenness.
Pressed for further details by presenter Kate McCann, West disclosed that the rift occurred approximately a year after their joint participation in the Walking With the Wounded charity event in 2013. The event involved a journey with wounded veterans through Antarctica. Although West refrained from divulging specific incidents, it is suggested that his comments during a 2014 press conference played a role in the fallout.
Reflecting on the past, West praised Prince Harry's involvement in the charitable expedition, highlighting his contributions to building structures, including a remarkable latrine.
