Speaking to the Mirror before the Golden Globes, Macht, who portrayed Harvey Specter in the series, was asked about the financial aspect of bringing Megan back. His response hinted at disapproval, stating, "I think the question is how much money would it take to bring me back."

According to Tom Bower's book "Revenge: Megan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors," Megan Markle's attitude underwent a noticeable shift towards diva behavior by the end of her tenure on Suits.
Bower writes that after Megan began dating Prince Harry, some cast and crew members observed changes in her demeanor, with occasional lateness and a perceived transformation of empathy into arrogance. The author details a shift from Megan's early days, where she organized prayer meetings with the Suits cast, to a later stage marked by increased demands and a more rigid stance.
Bower's book also reveals how, after Megan's involvement with the monarchy, the royal family started exerting influence on the Suits set. Orders from London dictated changes to script lines, with the most crucial demand related to Megan's last scene at a wedding to Mike – no photographs were allowed.
Aaron Korsh, the series creator, was instructed to submit future scripts to Megan's agent, Nick Collins, for approval, and scripts were then forwarded to Kensington Palace for further review.
