During an interview with Variety at the premiere of his latest film "The Boys In The Boat," Clooney expressed approval for the decision. Gosling and Robbie are set to portray the parents of Danny Ocean, Clooney's character in "Ocean's 11," adding a familial twist to the storyline.

Clooney humorously remarked, "Is Margot Robbie my mother? I've always thought that. And Ryan Gosling is my father, and when you think about that, it makes sense. Oh really."

During the same event, Clooney fielded questions about his reprisal of the role of Bruce Wayne (Batman) in the movie "The Flash" after 26 years. Playfully addressing the lack of requests for his return to the Batman character, he stated, "Somehow there weren't many requests for me to reprise the Batman character. I do not know why." DC Studios head James Gunn confirmed that Clooney would not be returning to portray Batman in future films.

As the festive season approaches, Clooney is gearing up for Christmas celebrations with his family, including his wife Amal Alamuddin and their two young children. Clooney shared a charming parenting trick he employs when the kids misbehave: "They still like all things Santa Claus, which is really helpful because, you know, when my kids are acting out, say in July, I act like I have a call with Santa and say, 'Hey, how are you doing?' And 'he' says: 'Everything is fine, how are the children?' And I say, 'Guys, how are you?' And well... I have a friend whose phone number appears with the name 'Santa.' And ready."

Regarding "The Boys In The Boat," a drama directed by Clooney based on Daniel James Brown's 2013 book, the film centers around the University of Washington rowing team's preparation for the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. Scheduled for release in the United States on December 25, the movie promises to bring a compelling and historically inspired narrative to the big screen.
