Bower believes that the couple is fully aware of the challenge of rebuilding their image, and their current restraint from making further attacks is an attempt to shift public attention away from their feud with royalty.
"She knows they've probably gone too far, and she doesn't know how to get out of it now. What's fascinating is how it will end. What will be the climax?" questions the biographer.
