Glen Powell, co-star in the film, avoided a catastrophe
When actors immerse themselves in the filming of a film anything can happen. And in Hollywood they are not exempt from suffering a work accident on the recording set. Among the best-known cases is that of Tom Cruise, when he broke his leg filming 'Mission Impossible: Fallout' by jumping between two facades.
The American actor continued with the scene and ended up being chosen for the final cut. Everything went perfectly, but in other cases, like that of Sidney Sweeney, one could regret what happened.
The actress is immersed in several projects such as 'Madame web' or 'Anyone but you'. Precisely for the second, she has been on Jimmy Fallon's show to promote the film. In one of the most watched programs in the world, the young American actress has condensed that she was stopped for a few days due to a problem with a spider bite during filming in Australia.
"The spider bit me in the middle of the scene, but no one told me because they thought I was making a very dramatic and interesting choice," said the 'The Voyeurs' actress. "They thought I was acting but it actually stung me," she joked before the astonished gaze of those present.
The Washington actress realized while she was still filming the scene that no one on the crew had noticed what happened and that only her partner in the film, Glen Powell, realized that something was wrong. "Glen was the only one who noticed and said, 'Wait, wait, this is more serious than it looks,'" Sweeney said of the moment of the bite.
The actor was aware of the problem because of the way the 'Euphoria' actress was reacting and because of the change in tone that occurred in her voice: "When someone gets bitten by a spider, it usually happens." Evidently, the problem was solved and both protagonists hope that the film will be a success at the box office.
