The Suits cast reunites for a new 30-second promotion set to air on CBS during the Super Bowl on February 11th.
Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and Sarah Rafferty, who now star together in a new Elf Cosmetics ad, are featured in the commercial. The Makeup Company teased the ad on Tuesday, sparking renewed speculation about the beloved USA legal drama making a comeback. However, notably absent from the ad is Meghan Markle.
The teaser depicts Elf delivering summons to various characters, including the three Suits cast members, as well as Ronald Gladen, Megan Trainor, RuPaul Drag Race star Heidi Closet, and former footballer Emanuel AO. The clip, led by comedian Bonito Scanner as an elf named Cooper, shows the stars getting interrupted and handed a pink slip, asking them to appear in court, concluding with an enigmatic message, "See you in court, February 11th."
In an interview, Rick expressed peak happiness working with his former co-stars, while Sarah likened the experience to coming home. Patrick J. Adams couldn't participate due to his busy schedule shooting a film in South Africa, and there was no mention of Meghan.
While discussing the reunion, Rick and Sarah did not mention Meghan's absence, but some fans speculate she may be disappointed since she played a significant role in promoting Suits, contributing to its popularity on Netflix.
Last summer, Suits unexpectedly became the most streamed show in the US for 12 weeks straight after its addition to Netflix. Gina acknowledged the show's sudden resurgence, describing the spotlight as odd and wonderful. In September, Patrick fueled rumors of the show's return by sharing never-before-seen behind-the-scenes shots from the series.
