Oppenheimer is positioning itself as the most acclaimed film when it comes to awards season. The film directed by Christopher Nolan has managed to be the most nominated for the 2024 Oscars, receiving 13 nominations.

In addition, being in the pools to win the most important awards from the Film Academy such as Best Film, Director, Actress or Actor. In fact, Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. have already won the Golden Globe, so they have a good chance of their names being chosen.

Along with Murphy, other great actors accompany him in the film, such as Florence Pugh who plays Jean Tatlock, J. Robert Oppenheimer's lover.

During interviews for Universal, the British actress revealed the complicated moment she experienced with Cillian on filming: "In the middle of our scene, the camera broke. Nobody knows, but that's how it was."

"Our camera broke when we were both N-. And it wasn't the ideal time and there weren't many cameras," she says.

In an amusing yet awkward incident, a camera malfunction threw a wrench into the set dynamics. The director, Chris Nolan, inquired about the whereabouts of the second camera, only to learn that it was in the shop undergoing repairs—a piece of news met with disappointment.

The unexpected camera mishap left the actors, including Cillian and myself, scrambling to find ways to shield themselves on the closed set. "We were both trying to cover our bodies as best as we could," recounts Florence, gesturing by placing her hands protectively around her body.

Amidst the chaos, a camera technician entered the room to address the malfunction. Florence seized the opportunity to glean some knowledge from the situation. "I thought, well, this is my chance to learn," she recalls. Engaging in a comical yet educational dialogue, she queried, "Tell me, what's wrong with this camera? What's happening with the shutter here, 'Friend?'" Florence aimed to make the most of this unexpected lesson in the midst of the light-hearted but uncomfortable scenario.
