This Friday, Carlos entered the same hospital where Kate Middleton is, to undergo surgery for a prostate problem.
Buckingham Palace reported this Friday morning that King Charles III had entered the private London Clinic center, in the center of the British capital, to undergo a scheduled operation for problems caused by the enlargement of his prostate.
The sovereign was photographed upon his arrival at the hospital, visibly calm and accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla.
King Charles visits Kate Middleton before undergoing prostate surgery
The royal house stressed at the time that the monarch faced the intervention relaxed, with full confidence in the surgeons' experience. This attitude would explain, according to the sources to which People magazine has had access, why the king wanted to first visit her daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, to demonstrate once again the support that she has always given him.
It should be remembered that Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery on January 16 in the same hospital where her father-in-law is now.
The growing concern about the origin of the surgery motivated the royal family to break its traditional secrecy regarding the delicate side of its members, mainly to clarify that the princess does not have cancer.
How is Kate Middleton's health?
This week, several of her loved ones downplayed the recent setbacks of the future queen of England.
They stressed that the princess was "in good hands" and that her condition as a "young woman in good shape" would lead to a speedy and full recovery. These sources maintained that her decision to cancel all engagements and public appearances until at least Easter was only a precautionary measure and not a sign of the seriousness of her condition.
"It's very sensible to take that time. And it sets a great example for people, who are sometimes pressured to return to work as soon as possible, which can be dangerous. You have to recover properly and then return. We must learn a lesson from this," a source close to People magazine told People magazine.
