Angela Lan has brought attention to the sentiments of both Invictus Games contestants and organizers, expressing their dissatisfaction with the negative spotlight Megan Markle tends to attract.

Prince Harry Shame As Thousands Of Veterans Petition To Kick Meghan Out Of Ig For Spending $91,610 On Costumes

According to Lan, former military personnel, including presumably injured veterans participating in the competition, alongside event organizers, are growing weary of Markle's tendency to divert attention away from the cause. Lan highlighted their frustration over Markle's actions, particularly her leading a parade of victorious wounded men while wearing what they deemed inappropriate attire.

This discontent is part of a larger trend, with an increasing number of ex-military personnel and Invictus Games organizers feeling disheartened by Markle's actions, which they perceive as detracting from the core purpose of the event.

Adding to the controversy, recent reports reveal that during a visit to Canada with her husband Prince Harry and the Invictus Games founder, Markle spent a substantial sum on her outfits. The total expenditure amounted to $91,500, with each day's attire costing significant amounts.

On the first day alone, Markle's outfit tallied up to $1,795, followed by $244,812.50 on the second day, and a staggering $334,990 on the final day. While attending events related to the Invictus Games, Markle's wardrobe choices have stirred discussions, with some finding her expenditures excessive given the context of the cause.

Detailed observations of Markle's attire during the visit provide further insights. On the first day, the Sussexes visited the First Nations, with Markle wearing a shirt and trousers, as reported by Hello magazine. Later, the couple was seen leaving a restaurant, with Markle donning a Lauro piano jacket and carrying a new Valentino bag.

Day two commenced with a visit to the Mount Curry Community Center, where Markle's outfit included a shirt believed to be from Wu, along with Burk stack Rings and a new diamond bangle. The day continued with a visit to the Whistler sliding Center, during which Markle wore a vintage Hermes jacket. Despite the diverse wardrobe, criticism emerged, especially on day three when Markle sported entirely new outfits at a wheelchair curling event, prompting accusations of flaunting wealth in front of veterans who might be facing financial struggles.

The controversy surrounding Markle's extravagant wardrobe choices extends to her jewelry and accessories. During a visit to a Native American Community Center, Markle wore jewelry valued at $177,000, excluding her watch and wedding ring. Critics find this display offensive, particularly considering the charitable nature of the center.

The extravagant spending on attire, coupled with private jet flights, luxurious accommodations, and other lavish expenses, raises questions about Markle's commitment to the Invictus cause and the well-being of veterans. These concerns prompt scrutiny not only of Markle's actions but also of the Invictus Games organization's handling of expenses related to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's appearances.
