Prince Harry's impressive reaction after learning of Charles III's diagnosis

Prince Harry has returned to the United Kingdom from Los Angeles, on an urgent trip to meet his father, King Charles III. The Duke of Sussex took a British Airways flight from Los Angeles Airport and arrived at Heathrow, London, after an 11-hour journey.

The visit comes amid difficult circumstances after the English monarch told Harry of his cancer diagnosis. Meghan Markle and her children, Archie and Lilibet, remained at her home in Montecito.

Harry was spotted arriving at the private terminal at Los Angeles Airport in his black Range Rover before boarding the flight to London. He visited Clarence House, where he met with his father for about 45 minutes, marking his first face-to-face meeting in nine months.

Afterwards, the king and his wife set out for Buckingham. Harry's accommodation in the United Kingdom is still uncertain, as last year he was evicted from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, so he could stay in a hotel or at the home of a family member or friend.

The king personally informed Prince Harry of his illness minutes before Buckingham Palace issued a statement announcing his cancer diagnosis. Although the news has caused concern in the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak assured that the cancer was detected in time, reassuring the nation.

King Charles' treatment has already begun, which has led to the postponement of his schedule due to medical advice. Although he will not hold public events, he will continue to work from home on state affairs and will hold weekly audiences with the prime minister adapted to his new situation.

Although the reason for Harry's visit is worrying, the king is reportedly "delighted" to be reunited with his son, according to Kristina Kyriacou, the monarch's former communications secretary. It is not known how long the youngest son of Charles III will remain in London, but he is not expected to assume royal duties, despite the cancellations of schedules by the king and Princess Kate, who are convalescing.

Despite his position in the line of succession to the throne, Harry remains a councilor of state and could replace the monarch in his official and constitutional duties in the event of his absence or illness.
