The Colombian actress Sofía Vergara has shown her house in Los Angeles in detail and has given a tour making it clear what she likes the most, what she likes the least and, of course, she has shown some eccentricities.
Sofía Vergara is living a sweet moment. After the announcement of her separation, the Colombian actress has regained her smile with Justin Saliman and is congratulated by the great reception that Griselda, her new series, has had throughout the world.
Now, the actress has decided to open the doors of her spectacular mansion in Los Angeles to Architectural Digest magazine and show what her daily life is like and what her favorite corners are in this great house that she built from scratch with good character and sense of humor that characterizes him.
The beginning was not easy: "It was horrible. It was like a castle in Transylvania. But when I went outside and saw this garden, I knew I wanted to live here."
Thanks to the exteriors of the house, Sofía said that she decided to buy and start the work. The house tour that she has taken has begun in the dining room, of which she has highlighted an 18th century French tapestry. Afterwards, he showed the kitchen, which he regrets is "impossible to get the guests out of there" and where he made his most sincere confession: "I don't cook, and I don't want to learn to cook, but my son Manu is very good and said "That this was what I needed at home, so here it is. I just worry about it being amazing."
Immediately afterwards, the actress went on to show her large living room. The element that attracts the most attention is a curious painting of a bullfighter called Los Matadores that she has hanging. Apparently, he bought it from the Colombian artist Fernando Botero, of whom he had been wanting a piece for a long time, and has said that he really likes that the "big and voluptuous" bullfighter is shown. To this we must add a previously unknown hobby of Sofía Vergara, which can only be discovered by entering her living room: "I have started collecting glass birds because I love them."
The surprises continue in the living room and Vergara has revealed one of the best kept secrets of a large mansion: where the bar is. The Griselda interpreter said, opening a closet excitedly: "Where happiness lives: the bar."
For her, the "most special" part of her entire property is the garden: "There is something about this garden that is really welcoming. People come and don't want to leave. So when I realized that it was difficult for people to outside the damn house I understood that we did a great job.
About her pool and the plants that surround it, she has said: "I wanted it to give the impression of being in the Mediterranean, like in Italy; as if you were in a villa or a hotel." To this she added: "I have put many tropical plants, which are not exactly supposed to be in the Mediterranean, but they make me feel as if I were in Colombia."
Given the common spaces of her house, the private spaces were missing: her bedroom and her bathroom. She is more than satisfied with the room in question: "It's perfect and I feel very comfortable, I feel everything in this bedroom." About aesthetics she has said: "I like color and textures." In addition, she has made special mention of her extra-large bed worthy of a Hollywood queen: "I think it looks great with the house." The room has a special detail and it has a large fireplace from the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. The room, of course, had a private bathroom about which Sofia said: "It's perfection."
Finally, she wanted to show off her spectacular dressing room. A very spacious and perfectly organized room in which she keeps her clothes by color: "It's every girl's dream." Additionally, she has said, "Linda Koopersmith designed this amazing closet for me and I try to keep it as organized as you see it now." In the center of this room she has a large table on which there are antiques and some photographs, among which one of her brother and her cousin, who died years ago, stands out.
Every detail of the house has left users who have seen the house tour engrossed, although there has been some criticism due to issues such as not knowing how to cook: "And who will cook for him? He has not introduced his servants and they know how treats them." Many people have also commented on the magnitude of the place: "It doesn't look welcoming at all."
Despite this, Vergara has shown her mansion in Los Angeles happily and has let her fans see firsthand the secrets she hides and where she is when she is not working.
