Justin Timberlake is reportedly fuming as renewed drama with his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears takes the spotlight away from his new music.
According to an exclusive source from Page Six, Timberlake had hoped that the backlash from Spears' memoir would have subsided by now, allowing him to concentrate on his eagerly anticipated new album. However, the ongoing controversies keep surfacing, making it challenging for Timberlake to shift the narrative.
Despite multiple new revelations every day, Timberlake's representative did not respond to Page Six's request for comment.
The former *NSYNC member, now 43, faced intense scrutiny in October 2023 when Britney Spears, 42, disclosed in her book "The Woman in Me" that she had undergone an abortion during their relationship. She revealed that Timberlake wasn't happy about the pregnancy and didn't want to be a father. Timberlake, so far, has not publicly addressed this revelation.
An insider had previously informed Page Six that Timberlake was anxious about what Spears might disclose in her tell-all, but the initial frenzy seemed to settle after a few weeks. Spears' fans had trolled Timberlake on Instagram, leading him to disable comments on his account.

In contrast, Timberlake seemingly did not accept the olive branch, offering a pseudo-apology during a performance in New York City just two days later, Unfazed by this, Spears promptly fired back, criticizing the former boy bander online for his comments about the "ex-Musketeers."
The history between Timberlake and Spears dates back to their tumultuous breakup in 2002 after three years of dating. Timberlake famously claimed in his hit "Cry Me a River" that Spears had cheated on him, a revelation confirmed by Spears in her memoir.
