Meghan Blacklisted By Dior For Using Fake Items To Take Advantage Of Brand

Dior has leveled accusations against Megan, citing her choice of attire as evidence of counterfeit fashion.

Meghan Blacklisted By Dior For Using Fake Items To Take Advantage Of Brand

The debacle unfolded after Megan's public appearance in a disheveled blouse, dealing a blow to the esteemed fashion house. Last month, while Megan and Harry were in Canada for Harry's Invictus Games, an annual event he founded to honor veterans and active-duty soldiers, Dior claims Megan sported a faux ensemble, attempting to associate herself with the brand.

Notably, the couple attended a private cocktail reception during the day, with Megan donning an all-black ensemble comprising a long-sleeved shirt tucked into slacks, complemented by her hair styled down the middle with gold accessories, as detailed by a fan account. While Megan's top was purportedly from Dior, her bottoms were credited to Anin Bang. Harry, on the other hand, opted for a button-down shirt under a dark blue sweater, paired with jeans and light charcoal boots.

Following the event, a Twitter account attributed to a bot castigated Megan's fashion choice, lambasting the alleged Dior blouse as resembling "a gin bag squish," criticizing its wrinkled appearance. The critique further questioned Megan's commitment to honoring fashion icons like Dior, suggesting her recurrent fashion faux pas could stain her legacy.

This incident adds to a string of recent fashion-related controversies surrounding Megan. Notably, a photograph surfaced of her and Harry at the Squamish lwad Cultural Center in Whistler, where she appeared in another supposedly wrinkled Dior blouse, prompting fans to question her loyalty to the brand.

Moreover, last year saw speculations about Megan becoming a brand ambassador for Dior, although the fashion house promptly refuted such claims. Despite reports suggesting negotiations between Megan's talent agency, William Morris, and Dior in Hollywood for a significant fashion deal to counter negative publicity surrounding her strained relationship with the British royal family and their split from Spotify, no such agreement materialized.

While Dior had previously dressed Megan during her tenure as a working member of the royal family, she allegedly lost out on a lucrative deal to actress MEC Bellamy, who portrays a young Princess Catherine in the hit series "The Crown."

Social media erupted with criticism over Megan's apparent disregard for fashion norms, with some users questioning her authenticity and others poking fun at her attire. One user remarked on the influx of unflattering photos of Megan, suggesting a hidden agenda behind her fashion choices, while another quipped about her consistent lack of enthusiasm in public appearances. Concerns over Megan's hair part and the overall presentation of her outfit echoed across online platforms, with some users expressing bewilderment at the perceived disarray in her appearance.
