The brand's Instagram page features a visually appealing grid of nine pictures, each representing facets of the orchard's allure. With pride, the bio on the Instagram page proclaims that the brand is the brainchild of Megan, The Duchess of Sussex. 

Reports suggest that the launch of American Riviera Orchard coincides with the debut of a new cooking show on Netflix featuring Meghan, where she will craft and market her own products. Despite diligent search efforts on Netflix, no official announcements have been found, leaving room for speculation. However, skeptics remain cautious, pointing out discrepancies such as the incomplete trademark and website timeline. 

Without concrete evidence, doubts linger about the credibility of the endeavor. Some view it as another elaborate scheme from Meghan, despite the glamorous imagery presented in the video. Despite the lack of tangible products for sale and inconsistencies between Instagram pages, Meghan's efforts seem geared towards generating buzz, possibly to sway Netflix into granting her a show.

Royal expert Lee Cohen speculates on Netflix's reluctance to acknowledge its association with what he describes as a "talentless grifter" in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Their partnership with the streaming giant, initiated five years ago, has seen the couple unveil various projects, including a documentary series and independent ventures by Harry. 

As the contract nears its expiration in 2025, uncertainty looms over its renewal. Chief content officer Bella Bararia hinted at ongoing collaborations with the couple during a recent Netflix event, suggesting the development of unscripted projects, a forthcoming movie, and TV shows. Cohen asserts that Netflix is drawn to the Sussexes' ability to attract viewers, even amidst controversy. 

Ted Sandos, co-chief of Netflix, acknowledges the couple's polarizing effect, citing the popularity of their documentary and the anticipation surrounding future projects. Despite differing opinions, their influence remains undeniable, with plans for more content, particularly in the realm of fictional scripted programs.

While Meghan and Harry continue to navigate public perception, their recent visit to Yaldi, Texas, showcases their engagement with serious issues. Their presence with the family of a victim of a school shooting in May 2022 highlights their ongoing efforts to address societal challenges. 

However, skepticism persists regarding their attempts to portray themselves as serious and respected public figures. Some view their branding efforts as an attempt to reinvent their image, dismissing them as mere social media influencers lacking credibility in serious arenas.
