Prince William FOILS Prince Harry's Reunion Plans Over Princess Catherine's Cancer Crisis

Prince William remains resolute in his reluctance to reconcile with his brother, Prince Harry, amidst the current turmoil.

Prince William FOILS Prince Harry's Reunion Plans Over Princess Catherine's Cancer Crisis

Reports suggest that Harry is eager to mend fences with his estranged brother and sister-in-law, Katherine, the Princess of Wales, upon his anticipated return to the UK. His visit, slated for May, coincides closely with the recent revelation of the Princess of Wales's cancer diagnosis. Consequently, it's anticipated that the Duke of Cambridge will extend an olive branch to the Waleses, seeking to mend strained relations and offer support during this challenging time.

However, Royal expert Richard Fitz Williams dismisses any prospects of reconciliation between the brothers, attributing it to William's perceived stubbornness. He told The Sun, "We know the brothers have had no contact, reportedly, at the moment and haven't for some time now. For William, the pressures are enormous. And I mean, for Katherine, the pressure is just a given. There's no doubt that it's going to be an immensely sensitive period."

In William's case, he doesn't want the pressure of the publicity that all this would bring. Also, he's obviously stubborn," the Royal expert continued. "He knows that for years, the Sussexes have disparaged the royal family and monetized their links with it. William has indeed gone through more than most humans could cope with, and from that point of view, nothing may happen," added Fitz Williams.

The Daily Beast has reported that Prince William and Princess Katherine are reluctant about Prince Harry's potential visit, citing concerns about the potential drama likely to accompany it. Ever since Catherine's cancer diagnosis went public, there's been a lot of interest around it. However, William and Catherine are looking to protect their privacy as the Princess battles the disease and focuses on her recovery.

"Katherine and William have been very clear that they want peace and quiet for them and the kids. A visit from Harry, with all the drama that would bring, would be the opposite of that," said one of the sources. Another source told the publication that William and Catherine had come to terms with living without Harry and were content to let sleeping dogs lie.

Meanwhile, according to Royal expert Tom Quinn, Harry is under pressure from his wife, Meghan Markle, to maintain his relationship with his family for commercial reasons. Speaking to The Mirror, Royal expert and author Tom Quinn said, "Harry's under pressure to keep some sort of relationship with his family going, if only for the sake of the couple's new ventures. Harry still has vague hopes that he'll be forgiven and will be offered a minor role somewhere."

The Royal expert also compared the exiled Royals to Edward VII and Wallis Simpson, whose intention to marry caused a constitutional crisis that forced the king to abdicate. "After marrying in France, they lived in a beautiful house but were desperately unhappy," Quinn said. "Even Edward VII, after the abdication, was given a few minor roles.

And Harry will be aware of that." Continuing to talk about the Sussexes, Mr. Quinn said, "As Meghan and Harry become an older married couple and some of the fire goes out of their relationship, there's a real danger that Harry will feel lost, just as Edward VIII felt lost when things had cooled with Mrs. Simpson." He concluded by saying, "That's the point at which Harry will really, really make huge efforts to build bridges with his brother and be allowed to be the part-time Royal that he wants to be. But if Palace officials have their way, it will never happen."
