During one of her visits, the queen spoke with people who asked her about the king's health.
Despite the constant controversy surrounding the British Royal Family and after Kate Middleton's video confessing her state of health, Queen Camilla has continued to fulfill her royal commitments. Currently, she is addressing several issues that would normally be the responsibility of Charles III, who is semi-retired due to his battle with cancer.
Despite the illness that affects the king, the queen has proven to be always present and pay tribute to him when she can. This became clear, when she visited The Arcadia Deli in Belfast. During her visit, the sovereign consort had the opportunity to speak briefly with Brenda Robb, a clerk at the establishment, during which details about the monarch's health emerged.
While in Belfast, Camilla Parker was transparent about her husband's recovery, explaining to the store worker that the king is "doing very well" as he continues his cancer treatment. The queen added: "He is doing very well. He was very disappointed not to be able to come." Critical Voices Report.
According to a magazine account, Camilla even made some jokes, responding to a comment about the difficulty of men as patients: "I try to keep it straight."
After her brief visit to the deli, the royal surprised other workers by visiting Coffey's Butcher and Knotts Bakery on Lisburn Road. There, she also made reference to her husband, saying, "I'll take them to my husband, he'll really make the most of them," after receiving a series of gifts.
