The controversial image that supports rumors of possible revenge has gone around the world.
Last December, a tweet from the X account, which was formerly Twitter, and supposedly sent by Jaime de Burgo, shook the stability of the royal marriage between King Felipe and Queen Letizia. The user claimed to have had an extramarital relationship with the queen, which generated a media crisis.
The national and international media focused on the alleged marital crisis of the Spanish Royal House. There was speculation about a possible divorce between the Spanish monarch and the former journalist, although it is suggested that the prenuptial agreement could influence this decision, especially in relation to the custody of Infanta Sofía.
The rumors continue, and a photograph of King Felipe accompanied by a woman younger than him during his vacation in the Baqueira Beret park, in the Aran Valley, Spain, recently circulated on social networks. Since 2017, Queen Letizia has chosen not to participate in these activities due to her lack of skiing skills and avoiding media attention.
