Unlike Infanta Sofía older sister, the youngest daughter of the kings of Spain used a curious strategy.
A few months ago, Infanta Sofía decided to follow in Princess Leonor's footsteps to study at the prestigious boarding school in Wales. But now, royal followers have wondered how she managed to pass the rigorous tests required by said institute.
Since it is well known that this school is very strict and that, apparently, the influence of her origin or the average of her grades had nothing to do with her admission, but rather the young royal was very cunning and applied an intriguing strategy to enter UWC Atlantic College.
Aware of the educational institution's rigorous admission requirements, Infanta Sofía defied conventional rules to secure her place at the school. Therefore, it has been revealed that during the selection process, Princess Leonor's sister had to undergo various tests and group activities, in addition to a personal interview.
In this last step, the second daughter of the kings of Spain opted for an unusual approach by choosing a nickname that represented her. Surprisingly, the Infanta decided to adopt the pseudonym “Dune” during the selection tests.
This choice of Infanta Sofía reflects her interest in science fiction, as she references Frank Herbert's famous book and the film adaptations of it. After successfully completing the demanding interviews, the pseudonym “Dune” earned Letizia and Felipe's daughter one of the coveted places among the 20 selected and she is now one of the most outstanding students of the institute and best known for this nickname while studying at boarding school in Wales.
