Jennifer Garner's father has died at the age of 85 and the actress has communicated this through social networks with a heartfelt message and images from her childhood.
Jennifer Garner is one of the best-known faces in Hollywood. From a young age, the actress began to carve a niche for herself in the industry and little by little her career rose. Regarding her personal life, she has three children that she shares with fellow actor Ben Affleck. Although they separated in 2018, they have shown on multiple occasions that they maintain an excellent relationship.
Now, the interpreter has suffered a severe setback as she is mourning the death of her father, William John Garner, at age 85. She wanted to share her sad news through her social networks.
"My father passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing Amazing Grace when he left us (did we overwhelm him or scare him? That's a good question). While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85-year-old man years that I lived a healthy and wonderful life, I know that pain is inevitable and that it awaits you in unexpected corners," he said on Instagram.
"Today is a day to give thanks. We are grateful for my father's character and quiet strength. For how he joked with a mischievous smile and for the way he invented the role of father to a girl, always patient. We are grateful for his work ethic, his leadership and faith. We extend our gratitude to the doctors at Charleston Area Medical Center and City of Hope. Your care extended my father's life and gave him time to be in his favorite places: surrounded by his daughters and grandchildren, cheering on his beloved Aggies, captaining a boat and, above all, with his wife of 59 years, our mother," the actress wanted to share.
"There is a lot to say about my father (my sisters and I will never stop talking about how wonderful he was, so bear with us), but today I share these memories with appreciation, for the kind and brilliant man, father and grandfather who was, as well as the great legacy of love that he left us," concludes the message accompanied by numerous photos from his childhood.
In this very emotional way, Garner has said goodbye to one of her most loved ones and numerous well-known faces have shown her their condolences, such as her great friend Reese Witherspoon: "My sweet friend... I am sending all my angels to help you." to take him home." While Jennifer Aniston writes: "I'm so sorry, Jen. Much love to you and your family."
"Sending you and your entire family the greatest love, light and hugs," says Lily Collins. While Sharon Stone tells him: "My deepest condolences. We did the same for my dad. Much love."
