It's not every day a movie like Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction turns 30 years old. Its cast has reunited to commemorate this special anniversary led by the presence of Uma Thurman and John Travolta.
In addition, there was an emotional tribute to Bruce Willis. In 1994, one of the most famous films in the history of cinema was released: Pulp Fiction. Quentin Tarantino introduced the world to a film that would revolutionize the big screen with its cast, its special effects and its particular story. So much so that it won an Oscar for Best Screenplay and achieved a worldwide box office collection of $212,891,760.
Now, Pulp Fiction turns 30 and its actors have gathered at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Los Angeles to celebrate. John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Harvey Keitel, Rosanna Arquette, Phil LaMarr, Julia Sweeney, Frank Whaley and Eric Stoltz attended the event to commemorate what, without a doubt, was one of the films that marked their careers.
The actors have posed very smiling for being able to be there, but there has been a very notable absence and it is that of Bruce Willis. The actor, as a result of the dementia he suffers from, has not been able to attend the event, but those who have attended on his behalf have been his wife Emma Heming and his daughter Tallulah Willis, the result of his previous marriage to Demi Moore. Both have posed for the media showing that they are very close and Tallulah has even worn a black cap with her father's name to pay her particular tribute.
Some of the protagonists of the event have spoken in front of the cameras on this 30th birthday of Pulp Fiction. Travolta has decided to dedicate some nice words to Willis.
"Bruce and I had a history. We did Look Who's Talking together, and we were very successful with it. So we were friends. We had been on vacation together, Kelly and I with Bruce and Demi. So this wasn't new. We were comfortable on with each other. It was very easy to be together and relax, you know? And there was a unique attention and we felt lucky to be in a very special movie," the Grease actor told ET.
The interpreter attended the tribute accompanied by his daughter Ella, with whom he posed very happy and proud. The 24-year-old girl wore a pretty floral dress while she accompanied her father in this very special celebration. Who John has also posed alone with is Uma Thurman, an actress with whom he had one of the most famous scenes in recent years in cinema in Pulp Fiction due to her famously great performance on the dance floor. The photo of her on a day like this couldn't be missing.
Rosanna Arquette, who played Jody in the film, has also spoken to media such as People about the project: "At the time, we knew that we were there, rehearsing, that we were working with a great director, but we didn't realize how enormous it would".
Indeed, 30 years later Pulp Fiction has become a cinema myth and has been placed in one of the highest echelons in the history of cinema for its genuine script, through which the actors intertwined the stories of their characters in Los Angeles creating a film that, despite the years passing, continues to be the success it was.
