The limited-edition jam is American Riviera Orchard's first product. The brand went public last month through a video of the actress pruning flowers.
Meghan Markle has already launched the first product from her brand, American Riviera Orchard. This is a jar of strawberry jam. Her debut was through Instagram, where designer Tracy Robbins and Argentine socialite Delfina Blaquier (two of her friends) have published her jars in her stories.
According to the British newspaper The Independent, these bottles are limited edition. The brand went public last month through a video of the actress pruning flowers. It was made public in the middle of the crisis of the British royal family (a few days after King Charles' diagnosis of an unspecified cancer was made public).
In a few hours, the firm's Instagram account already had more than 200,000 followers, currently it has 593,000. The jar has a label with the jar number handwritten on it. Meghan's brand has sent 50 jars to influencers who have been quick to post photos of the product on their accounts. Delfina Blaquier, who is married to one of Harry's close friends, the polo player Nacho Figueras, has debuted her jam for breakfast and has sung her praises: "I love your American Riviera Orchard jam."
The jars bear the name and logo of the company, as well as the name of its place of origin, Montecito, the town where the former actress resides. Reports suggest that American Riviera Orchard will be officially launched in the spring, and several sources say it will encompass all of the hobbies that Meghan used to include in The Tig blog that she wrote before meeting her current husband: family, cooking, entertaining and home decoration.
According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the company is registered to sell recipe books, tablecloths (household items), as well as foods such as jams.
