The relationship between the artist Jennifer Lopez and the actor Ben Affleck is above all complicated. They were together at the beginning of the century but things didn't work out. Time passed, marriages and couples in between, they got back together three years ago and everything seemed to indicate that love had blossomed again... it seemed.
Everything indicates that the renowned couple is about to take different paths, according to rumors and In Touch Weekly, and divorce is knocking on the door. Apparently the media communicated with sources close to the couple who confirmed that the separation papers are on the table. The information comes in a context of rumors that began when fans noticed a rift between the two in public appearances.
“Ben Affleck has reached a breaking point with Jennifer Lopez and has “moved out” of the home they share,” notes In Touch. “They will probably have to sell the dream home they have been looking for for two years. They will never stop loving each other, but she can't control him and he can't change her. There’s no way it would have lasted.”
Fans have noted that Ben and Jennifer have been spending more time apart in recent weeks. The actor did not accompany his wife to the Met Gala on May 6, despite her relevant role as co-chair of the event. Ben's official explanation for being away was that he was busy filming The Accountant 2, but an In Touch source claims he "decided to call it quits" for his marriage to the prominent singer.
