Meghan Markle's PR team recently disclosed an intriguing tidbit: she was purportedly offered a jaw-dropping million dollars per second to reprise her breakout role as Rachel Zane in "Suits".

Meghan Markle Asked German Cosmetics Brand Biotulin For $1M For Wrinkle Smoothing Gel Ad

However, there's a twist to this offer—it didn't come directly from the show's producers. Instead, it was the German cosmetics brand, Bächlein, who extended this eye-catching proposal. They envisioned Meghan making a cameo appearance in the hit USA Network series, leveraging their products known for their claimed ability to smooth wrinkles within an hour, a line reportedly favored by The Duchess of Sussex herself.

The show's creator, Aaron Korsh, opted not to invite Meghan back for the "Suits" finale, respecting her new life. It's uncertain if she'll return for the new spin-off. Nonetheless, Meghan's team hinted that she might consider a cameo, potentially earning a whopping $5 million for just a 5-second appearance.

Bächlein made waves when they publicly tweeted the offer to NBC Universal in 2020, marking the first time Meghan was publicly approached to return to the beloved drama since her departure to marry Prince Harry. However, Bächlein's representatives have now spoken out, debunking Meghan's PR stunt.

They clarified that while they did extend an offer for a cameo in their ad, it was primarily due to Meghan's association with Prince Harry and the hope that her fame would boost their brand. Despite the initial interest, they withdrew the offer to NBC after Meghan's revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey. Now, they're pursuing separate avenues with NBC, excluding Mrs. Markle from the equation.

Rumors swirl about Meghan's potential return to acting, but Bächlein doesn't anticipate her promoting their brand through a cameo. Their offer was made in 2020, prior to her involvement with Oprah's Netflix documentaries. Meghan's Hollywood comeback seems to have encountered hurdles, with reports suggesting Disney turned her down due to her controversial status.

Regarding the speculated cameo in "Suits", it appears to be a costly endeavor. A day of filming involving numerous scripts, costume changes, and an extravagant wrap party may leave little room to compensate Meghan adequately. It's speculated that most of her earnings would be channeled into promoting this fantasy deal. While it may seem extravagant, Meghan's financial security, thanks to Harry's income, affords her the luxury to pursue such ventures.

In the realm of royal cosplaying, Meghan's aspirations seem to falter before they truly begin. From rumors of presidential ambitions to potential film roles, her path forward remains uncertain. Yet, amidst the chaos, she continues to navigate her journey, perhaps with a tell-all book or new projects on the horizon.
