Ranker, the go-to website for objective polls on entertainment, brands, sports, food, and culture, proudly announced its list of the most disliked celebrities of 2024. After meticulously gathering a billion votes from millions of unbiased participants, the top 20 included Mark Zuckerberg, Hararia Thomas, James Corden, Kylie Jenner, Logan Paul, 6ix9ine, Kanye West, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Jake Paul.
This star-studded lineup also features Chris Brown, James Charles, Sean Combs, Jada Pinkett Smith, Bill Cosby, Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry, Ellen DeGeneres, Amber Heard, and Meghan Markle. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earned their spots on the list shortly after they moved to the U.S., with the UK apparently not too thrilled about Harry leaving his family to handle royal duties alone. Meghan Markle's popularity in the UK continues to decline, while her sister-in-law, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, remains the most well-liked member of the British royal family, according to a new poll.
A May poll on the British royal family's favorability revealed the percentage of Brits who like and dislike various members. According to the survey, Meghan, who previously faced allegations of bullying palace staff, remains one of the least popular royals, with 65% of respondents holding a negative view of her and only 22% viewing her positively. This marks a drop in favorability for the Duchess from April when a poll showed 64% of British adults disliked her and 26% liked her.
Based on the May poll results, her husband, Prince Harry's popularity also hasn't recovered, as 61% of respondents viewed him unfavorably and just 29% favorably.Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales, currently undergoing cancer treatment, was number one on the royal family favorability list for the second month in a row. In May, 74% of Brits said they had a favorable view of Catherine, while just 13% didn't. Her husband and Prince Harry's brother, Prince William, came second in May's rankings, with 73% of respondents having a positive opinion of him and 18% a negative view.
Third place went to Queen Elizabeth II's daughter, Princess Anne, who is liked by 70% of Brits and disliked by just 13%.Prince William and Prince Harry's father, King Charles III, who is also battling an unspecified form of cancer, was the fourth most well-liked royal for May. Of the respondents, 64% said they hold a positive view of the monarch, while 28% held a negative one. He was followed by Sophie, The Duchess of Edinburgh, and her husband, Prince Edward, who were both liked by more than 50% of Brits.
King Charles's wife, Queen Camilla, ranked seventh on the list, with exactly half of Brits viewing her favorably and 38% unfavorably.Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice had better results than their cousin, Prince Harry, with 37% of respondents holding a positive opinion of the sisters. Their disgraced father, Prince Andrew, remained the most unpopular royal, with 86% of the country's view of him being unfavorable. Overall, 60% of British adults said that they like the royal family in general, while 32% indicated that they do not, according to the May poll.
