Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Shocked by King Charles' UNPRECEDENTED Move

King Charles seems to have a particular fondness for his beloved niece, Zara Tindall, often overlooking her penchant for breaking protocol.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Shocked by King Charles' UNPRECEDENTED Move

This was evident during their emotional reunion at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which highlighted their close bond. According to In Touch Weekly, King Charles has been planning to strengthen his dwindling ranks by elevating Zara to the title of Princess. Observers believe a recent interaction may have been the moment he communicated this intention to her.

An eyewitness noted that he was thrilled to see her and something he said made her pause for a moment. It would be amazing if he made her a princess; she's like a surrogate daughter to him. He clearly adores her.

The king's efforts to maintain a streamlined monarchy have faced challenges, including the Princess of Wales's recovery and his own health issues. Introducing someone of Zara's caliber could significantly impact the situation. An insider stated, "She's a powerhouse for the Royals even unofficially. Everyone loves her. She's an incredible mom, has a great husband, and won Olympic silver. More than that, Charles adores her and wants her on his team."

Despite this, Zara expressed no regrets about her lack of title in a podcast last December, praising her mother for not giving her one. She valued their more normal upbringing. However, Charles is determined, believing it's wrong that Zara and her brother Peter aren't titled Prince and Princess, especially since Anne's refusal of titles for them when they were younger would have been different had Anne been a boy. He hopes Zara won't decline the title if offered, as he sees her as the daughter he never had.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jenny Bond suggests Zara is leading this change, demonstrated by her public behavior. Referring to Zara's affectionate embrace with King Charles at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 3rd, Bond noted the increasing public displays of affection among Royals as a positive trend. Speaking to OK! Magazine, she added, "It makes them more relatable and genuine. The days of the stiff upper lip are passing."

Heartwarming images showed Zara giving King Charles a warm hug and kiss shortly after his surprise appearance at the horse show. The King was in high spirits despite the wet weather, engaging with officials under umbrellas. Jenny Bond commented on the genuine warmth of the embrace, stating, "Now that's a proper hug and a proper relationship—loving, warm, and unselfconscious."
