Emma Watson was recently seen cozying up to a mystery man during a romantic outing at a bakery in Oxford.
This sighting came just days after she was spotted kissing someone who bore a striking resemblance to the same man. The "Harry Potter" star, aged 34, appeared smitten as she locked eyes with her apparent new beau at Gail's Bakery in Jericho, Oxford, on Friday. Emma, who is currently pursuing a part-time master's degree at Oxford University, split from her ex-boyfriend Brandon Green, the son of controversial business tycoon Sir Philip Green, over a year ago.
In an exclusive photo obtained by Mail Online, the tall, spectacled, bearded man was seen wearing a relaxed blue linen shirt. Emma kept her outfit casual as well, donning a beige cable-knit jumper, a dark red scarf, and a backward navy baseball cap. An onlooker at the pastry shop mentioned that the pair had a pleasant vibe together and that other customers didn't seem to recognize her. "They were together in the queue and seemed to have a nice vibe," the onlooker said. "I couldn't hear what they were saying apart from when she ordered an espresso, a cake, and a juice or something similar. She didn't seem to be hiding herself; she was just queuing with him normally. Nobody really reacted to her, but I could see people in the shop recognized her."
Earlier in the week, Emma and the man were seen leaning in for a kiss on the street. As she prepared to leave for a few days, he placed his hand on her cheek and pulled her closer while she gazed up at him. The "Beauty and the Beast" star wore a loose pale blue shirt, and he matched her casual attire. Emma appeared relaxed as her term at Oxford comes to an end, opting for minimal makeup and wearing her hair down with a pair of white sunglasses perched on her head. The actress looked happier than ever, locking eyes and lips with the man. A source told The Sun, "She looked incredibly happy, like she didn't have a care in the world. Her suitcases were put in the back of a blue Range Rover by her security, and she was saying goodbye. They were incredibly close and didn't seem to care who was looking; they only had eyes for one another."
Emma, who has a strong connection to Oxford because of her family, seems to have found another reason to love the city. She is currently dividing her time between the US and Oxford while completing her master's degree. She attends a handful of lectures on-site with security in tow and completes the rest online. Judging by the adoring look she gave the mystery man while leaning on the pastry case, it seems she has found her "dish of the day."
This new romance comes after Emma's split from Brandon Green last year, sometime after Christmas. Their serious relationship lasted around 18 months, during which they met each other's parents and went on holidays, including a romantic trip to Venice. Brandon, known for his party-loving reputation, previously dated several models and was once caught patting Kate Moss on the bottom during a holiday in St. Barts. It was rumored that the catalyst for their split was an epiphany Emma had related to her Saturn return, leading her to decide she wanted out of the relationship. In an Instagram post on April 15th, marking her birthday, she wrote, "This is 33. Holy moly. Before 29, I hadn't even heard of a Saturn return as a concept. Let's just say that now I am well acquainted."
