Reflecting on a meeting he had with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex last year, Pierce shared his admiration for their relationship. "When Meghan came into town to receive an award last year, I had the chance to say hello and wish her, Prince Harry, and their children well," Pierce told People. "They looked very much in love and were very happy, which is the most important thing."

The bond between Pierce and Markle dates back to their days on Suits, where they developed a close friendship. Markle played Rachel Zane, the daughter of Pierce's character. She left the show after the seventh season following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017. Pierce fondly remembers working with Markle, describing it as a delightful experience, although they have only seen each other a few times since she became a member of the royal family.

"I've gotten to see her just a few times since then, and we've been able to reminisce. We have fond memories of working together," Pierce shared. Earlier this year, during an appearance on Who's Talking to Chris Wallace, Pierce recounted a conversation he had with Markle on her last day of filming.

"It was the last night of working, and I told Meghan, 'Your life is going to change, and you're going to be in a bubble. But just always remember, no matter what, I'm your friend. You have lots of friends,'" Pierce recalled. "We're always thinking about you. We'll always be there for you, and no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me."

Pierce also praised Markle, both as a person and as an actress. "She's the nicest person ever," he said, adding that she probably would love to act again. Markle, who is now 42, retired from acting when she joined the royal family in 2018.

In 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, now 39, relocated to Montecito, California, after stepping back as senior members of the royal family. Despite the significant changes in their lives, their love and happiness remain evident, as observed by those who have had the opportunity to see them together.
