Prince William and Prince George look heartbroken as England lose to Spain in Euros 2024

The Royal father and son experienced a rollercoaster of emotions at the Olympia Stadion in Berlin yesterday evening. At the beginning of the match, Spain scored an early goal, and Prince George looked visibly disappointed as he sat next to his father. However, the mood shifted when Cole Palmer scored a magnificent goal for England, reigniting their hopes for a Euro win.

The father and son were seen looking tense, holding their heads in their hands, as Palmer approached the goal. When he scored, both William and George jumped out of their seats, shouting in celebration. Prince William turned to hug Prince George, who appeared overwhelmed with joy.

Their joy was short-lived, however, as Spain scored again just minutes later, securing the Euro 2024 victory. The father and son appeared heartbroken, staring out at the pitch with their heads in their hands. Shortly after the final whistle, the official Kensington Palace account posted a message from Prince William, commiserating with the team. He wrote, "This time it just wasn't meant to be. We're all still so proud of you. Onwards, England."

In addition, William and George posed for a photo with King Felipe and Princess Sofia, who were in Berlin to support the Spanish team. The match was a poignant experience for the young Prince George, witnessing the highs and lows of a major football final.
