Prince William is reportedly outraged over the significant inheritance that Prince Harry is set to receive, according to various sources.
The Duke of Sussex is expected to inherit £7 million from a trust fund established by his great-great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, on his 40th birthday, which falls on September 15th. This inheritance is notably larger than what William will receive, given that he is already benefiting from the wealth associated with the Duchy of Cornwall.
The disparity has reportedly left Prince William feeling particularly aggrieved, especially in light of Harry's decision to step back from royal duties and his subsequent public criticisms of the royal family, both in interviews and his memoir, Spare.
A source close to the situation revealed to Closer magazine that William is "pretty disgusted" that Harry will receive such a large sum without any effort on his part. William reportedly views the situation as fundamentally unfair, believing that Harry should not be entitled to this financial windfall, especially given his recent behavior. The Prince of Wales is said to harbor deep resentment, feeling that this inheritance is an undeserved reward for Harry, whose actions have brought considerable strain to the royal family.
Furthermore, William and his wife, Kate, are reportedly distrustful of Harry and Meghan.
