Victoria Humiliates Meghan Markle by Claiming Meghan Markle Used Counterfeit Goods in Colombia

Meghan Markle recently made headlines for an unfortunate fashion choice that reportedly left Victoria Beckham cringing.

Victoria Humiliates Meghan Markle by Claiming Meghan Markle Used Counterfeit Goods in Colombia

During her Colombian tour, Meghan attended the Responsible Digital Future panel discussion, where she donned a brown silk shirt designed by Victoria Beckham. While the event itself was intended to focus on meaningful topics, Meghan's outfit became a subject of much scrutiny. Observers couldn't help but notice the sweat stains that appeared prominently on her blouse, leading to speculation that Victoria Beckham might be less than thrilled with how her design was showcased.

The sweat stains were visibly noticeable, stretching from Meghan's stomach to her crotch. This kind of wardrobe malfunction is hardly the image any high-end fashion house would want associated with their brand. It’s difficult to imagine Victoria Beckham’s team promoting a tagline like, "Wear Victoria Beckham and look good sweating in it." Meghan’s attempt to make a statement by wearing Victoria Beckham's design seems to have backfired, as the sweat marks detracted from the intended elegance of the ensemble.

What adds another layer to this incident is the narrative that Meghan and Prince Harry are allegedly trying to push. According to Page Six, they claim that Meghan is a friend of Victoria Beckham and was supporting her brand during the tour. However, this assertion is questionable. Just a few months ago, Tom Bower’s book, The House of Beckham, suggested that Meghan actually considered herself to have a higher social standing than Victoria. Meghan, reportedly, believed that her royal status elevated her above Victoria in terms of wealth and influence. Yet, she soon realized that the Beckhams, with their multiple homes, private jets, and considerable wealth, were in a different league altogether.

Jealousy may have been a factor from the start, and the notion of a close friendship between Meghan and Victoria seems far-fetched. In fact, it's been suggested that Meghan distanced herself from Victoria after discovering that she wouldn’t receive free clothing from her. The idea that Meghan is now trying to portray herself as an ally of Victoria Beckham by wearing her designs appears to be nothing more than a strategic move. But the evidence points to the contrary—Victoria Beckham is unlikely to use this incident to promote her brand. The image of "Dress like a duchess, sweat like a duchess" is far from the chic and polished image that Victoria's fashion line aims to convey.

Victoria Beckham is likely cringing at how Meghan Markle wore her clothing in such an unflattering manner. The situation has been met with criticism, and the idea that the two women are friends seems more like a desperate attempt at narrative control than reality.
